Terms & Conditions
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is the responsibility of each guest. To protect yourself against unexpected circumstances, we require that any insurance you choose includes coverage for:
-
Retreat activities
-
Trip cancellation or interruption
-
Illness or injury
-
Loss or damage to personal belongings
-
Any other unforeseen travel risks
Purchasing insurance ensures peace of mind and helps avoid financial loss should your plans need to change.
Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility
Your health and wellbeing are your own responsibility. Please consider your physical capability carefully before attending the retreat and participating in any activities.
We strongly recommend consulting a medical professional—ideally one familiar with Pilates or similar movement practices—before attending the retreat, especially if you have any existing health conditions, injuries, or concerns. This is to ensure you are safely able to participate in any classes or physical activities you may choose to take part in during the retreat.
If you have any medical conditions, injuries, mobility limitations or dietary requirements that may be affected by retreat activities, it is essential that you inform us in advance.
While every effort is made to provide a safe environment, you participate in all activities at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for injuries, losses or illness that may occur. A participation and liability waiver will be provided for you to sign on arrival.
Please note: Not all retreat venues are fully accessible. If we determine that a venue is unsuitable based on your needs, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and issue a full refund.
Dietary Requirements
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, it is essential that you inform us at the time of booking. We will always do our best to accommodate dietary needs; however, please be aware that retreat meals may be prepared in kitchens where allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, soy, and eggs are present. While every effort is made to minimise risk, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or prevent the possibility of cross-contamination. Guests with severe or life-threatening allergies should take appropriate precautions and bring any necessary medication, such as antihistamines or an EpiPen.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your possessions are kept safe at all times. We accept no liability to missing, stolen or broken items.
Group Bookings

The terms of this contract will apply to each member of the group as though they had paid for their own retreat individually and directly to us.

If one or more of the party have to cancel, the full room rate must be covered. You can transfer the booking to another person if you wish. We accept no responsibility for this.

Further Information

If you have a problem during your retreat, please inform the organiser immediately and we will endeavour to put things right. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the individual behaviour of any group member or other guest.
Unless otherwise stated, our retreats are ladies only, and pet free, and the minimum age to attend is 18. Generally each retreat will commence at 5pm on the day of arrival and end at 10am on the day of departure. Please keep us informed of your expected arrival time so that we can, if necessary, be on hand to ensure that your retreat begins smoothly.
Please do not arrive early unless this is pre-arranged with us as this puts our cleaning and preparation team under pressure. This can mean we do not get the chance to make our crucial final checks on the property. Should you arrive early at your property please keep in mind that we may still be preparing the property for your arrival. Your patience whilst we prepare the property for you is appreciated.
Alcohol - We cannot provide alcohol as we do not have a license, however you are welcome to bring your own. We just ask that you dispose of any empties before you depart.
Spanish Retreat - Flights and travel insurance are not included in the retreat price. Most activities are covered within the standard retreat cost; however, any additional optional experiences or extras will be clearly stated in the itinerary for this Spanish retreat.

Complaints
We take all complaints and suggestions very seriously and encourage feedback by leaving evaluation forms in the property for your use. Please advise us immediately if you have a complaint during your holiday. Complaints received following the end of your holiday are difficult to investigate and we may not be able to verify the circumstances of your complaint. We will investigate all complaints that we receive thoroughly and we will attempt to resolve the complaint where this is possible. If you are staying in a property managed by the owner (you will have been given their contact details upon booking and also on arrival at your property and may even have met the owner) rather than a property that we manage on behalf of the owner, we ask that you also inform Unwind Retreats of the problem or complaint as we are often best placed to resolve the issue.
