Terms & Conditions

 

Travel Insurance

 

Basic Travel Insurance is recommended but not included. If you choose to buy insurance we require that your travel insurance covers the activities of this retreat as well as unexpected cancellations, sickness, losses and all the usual risks.

 

Your Health

 

Your health is your responsibility. Please be mindful at all times of your own body’s capability before attending the retreat.

 

It is advisable to consult a doctor with an understanding of pilates and other exercises to check that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake classes and other physical activities that you may choose to do whilst on the retreat.

 

Please advise us if you have health conditions and dietary requirements that may be affected by the activities offered on our retreats.

 

Whilst all measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, we shall not be responsible for any injuries caused. A disclaimer will be available at the retreat for you to sign.

Not all of our venues are access friendly, we reserve the right to cancel and refund your booking if we feel it's not suitable.

 

Cancellations

 

(a)           You (or any member of your party) may cancel your booking at any time. Cancellation will take effect the day such notification is received by us.

 

(b)           You will lose your full deposit after the 14 day statutory right period plus £50 admin fee if you cancel at anytime.

 

(c)           If you are paying monthly instalments, full payment is due 8 weeks before the retreat start date, if you cancel after this you will lose 100% of your payment.

(d)          If you choose to pay in full at the time of booking, payment is due straight away.

(e)           If you cancel between 12 – 16 weeks you will lose 70% of the total price, plus need to pay £50 admin fee. If you cancel between 16 and 24 weeks you will lose 50% of the total price, plus need to pay £50 admin fee. If you cancel before 24 weeks of the retreat you will lose the deposit and the £50 admin fee.

 

(f) Bookings are for the stated period of the retreat. There are no refunds for an unused portion of the retreat. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your Insurance Policy, you may be able to make a claim on your insurance.

 

(g) If your accommodation has to be changed, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar rating. If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure.

 

(h) Cancellation by us. We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel a retreat. In particular, our retreats require a minimum number of at least 75% of the participants to have booked by 7 days before the start date. If this minimum number is not reached by that date we may cancel and refund the money to you.

 

Our Liability

 

(a) We accept responsibility for ensuring that the retreats are supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are to a reasonable standard.

 

(b) We do not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances or other events beyond our control.

 

(c) We are not liable for any injuries you may incur. All activities, workshops and classes are undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions, which may develop during or subsequent to the retreat.

 

(d) We are not liable for loss of, or damage to, your personal belongings and property.

 

No Liability for Possessions

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that your possessions are kept safe at all times.

 

Group Bookings

 

Where a booking is made on behalf of several individuals the booking is conditional on the person(s) paying having authorisation from all the individuals named on the booking form to enter into this contract. The terms of this contract will apply to each member of the group as though they had paid for their own retreat individually and directly to us.

Rooms with multiple beds - When you select a room with multiple occupancy, you are required to fill it with the correct amount of people. If one or more of the party have to cancel, the full room rate must be covered. You can transfer the booking to another person if you wish. We accept no responsibility for this.

 

Privacy Policy

 

We do not share customer details with any 3rd parties. Any personal information that you provide to us will be used only for the service you requested. This information is used only for administration of the site system and in the compilation of statistics used by us to assess the use of the site. This privacy policy does not cover the links within this site linking to other sites.

 

Photography

 

I authorise Unwind Retreats to use photographs of me and to publish them (with or without my name) for social media and the purposes of publicity, advertising, publishing and for any product or services including websites.

 

If you have a problem during your retreat, please inform the organiser immediately and we will endeavour to put things right. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the individual behaviour of any group member or other guest.

 

Further Information

 

Unless otherwise stated, our retreats are ladies only and pet free.  Generally each retreat will commence at 4pm on the day of arrival and end at 10am on the day of departure. Please keep us informed of your expected arrival time so that we can, if necessary, be on hand to ensure that your retreat begins smoothly.

 

Please do not arrive early unless this is pre-arranged with us as this puts our cleaning and preparation team under pressure.  This can mean we do not get the chance to make our crucial final checks on the property.  Should you arrive early at your property please keep in mind that we may still be preparing the property for your arrival.  Your patience whilst we prepare the property for you is appreciated.

Alcohol - We cannot provide alcohol as we do not have a license, however you are welcome to bring your own. We just ask that you dispose of any empties before you depart.

Extras - Flights and travel insurance are not included. Although most activities are included in the initial cost, additional costs will be made clear on each retreat's itinerary.

Complaints

 

We take all complaints and suggestions very seriously and encourage feedback by leaving evaluation forms in the property for your use.  Please advise us immediately if you have a complaint during your holiday.  Complaints received following the end of your holiday are difficult to investigate and we may not be able to verify the circumstances of your complaint.  We will investigate all complaints that we receive thoroughly and we will attempt to resolve the complaint where this is possible.  If you are staying in a property managed by the owner (you will have been given their contact details upon booking and also on arrival at your property and may even have met the owner) rather than a property that we manage on behalf of the owner, we ask that you also inform Unwind Retreats of the problem or complaint as we are often best placed to resolve the issue.
